Many of us have felt like we should have been up before now. It will be nice to see you all!! As we prepare to serve and start our journey of prayer in preparation for the service I thought I would share the following: "In John 4:24 it says that God is a Spirit. Prayer releases our spirit into communinion with God in another world: HIS WORLD. When we pray the deepest part of who we are in our core, in our spirit, connects with God. Prayer is the womb in which we give birth to things yet unseen. Prayer is the site where we 'build' our life first in the invisible world. Prayer is the field of war where we command the authority given to us from God , unlocking forces more powerful than any that may rise against us. Prayer is not an optional extra. Prayers are the lungs of the Spirit. Just as surely as our body would die without breathing, our spirit would wither without prayer. The church breathes through prayer. Every living thing breathes. If we don't breathe, we die. So does the church. So does any believer. We are called to bring the atmosphere of another world to this planet -- THE ATMOSPHERE OF HEAVEN.
